Kids and Teens: Programs, Books, Websites, and more

Programs for children are offered year round at The Teague Public Library.  

  • Story-time is offered from October - April.     The library also offers story-time to the local preschools.  The current schedule consists of:

9:00    Eighth Avenue Baptist Church Pre-School

10:00  Kiddie Patch Daycare

10:30  First United Methodist Church Pre-School

  • The annual Spring Break Program is offered during the spring break holiday each March.  The program consists of a Read-A-Thon, daily Disney movie showings, and a pizza party. 

  • The Summer Reading Program at the Teague Library is a great way to keep children involved in reading over the summer.  The program kicks off at the City Park the first Saturday in June.  Programs after that are every Thursday at the library.  Programs for Pre-K - 1st grade are at 10:00 and 2nd - 6th grade are at 2:00.  Bring your child by for a great time at the library!!!
